]personality[
Friendly and spirited, Pippa is incredibly curious - which tends to get her into
trouble. She does her best to play by the rules, but sometimes that just isn't
always possible - which was why she ended up here, on the farm. She's always
been an animal lover - particularly fond of cats and horses, and took riding lessons
growing up, which, she figures, will come in handy now that she's here. Of
course she has her quiet moments too, but most often these moments occur when
she has her music playing and is lost in her own little world. She tries to follow the
rules, and be easy and relaxed, but when something bothers her, she'll say it. To be
honest, she's pretty content at the thought of getting to spend some time around the
horses, and is grateful for her second chance. She won't let anyone else's bad attitude
ruin it for her, so beware.
]history[
Some people start out with a rough road ahead of them... Pippa wasn't one of those
people. She had a good life. Of course, there were the typical problems - her father
worked quite a lot to provide the family with an upper middle class life style, but her
mother was always around - being a stay-at-home mom and all. Pippa grew up under
the watchful eyes of her mom, Johanna, She was a good student. Straight As. Pip was
even decent at the random activities her mom filled her life with; being put into riding
classes, dance classes and music lessons really helped her gain confidence and find the
things that she loved (mainly, animals and music), granted, she knew she was never going
to be so good at either of those things to actually do it as her profession, so she kept her
marks up and when she graduated from her town district high school, she was off to
university in the fall. No one in her life had ever questioned that she'd go on to do great
things, she's always been encouraged, if not hovered over, and held to a spectacularly high
expectation by her father. Maybe it's not so surprising that when she found herself
completely free of her parents - and the restraints that they placed on her, she... lost her sense
of direction. Soon after starting up her new life in the freedom of her own residence,
she found out that one of her new roommates was quite secretive. Being the curious person that she
was, Pippa dove into figuring out what was going on, eventually learning that her roommate
dealt narcotics as well as various other prescription drugs. After coming to that realization,
Pippa found herself pulled into the world of dealing, curious in the business and with increasing
pressure from school, finding the idea of such an escape more and more attractive. After a
particularly bad exam, Pippa returned home and took her first Valium, eventually progressing
to taking both Valium and Xanax. She fell apart quite rapidly, and was charged nearly two months
later for possession of Schedule Four controlled substances. Safe to say that she was cut off hard
when sent to prison, and she's been clean ever since. She really just wants to finish off her sentence
and get back to her life, start to rebuild what she once had. Pippa wants to fix everything she broke.

[history]
Zoey was about 4 and a half when she first came to Sunrise Ranch, she'd gotten tangled up
in properly strung electrical fencing, and had been shocked quite severely several
times over. The vet who'd been called in searched for a place to put her, and found
the ranch, placing her in its care while she recovered from her injuries, both physical
and mental. Now recovered from her physical ailments, she needs to continue to work on
building trust in others (both horse and human) as she is very independent and doesn't seem
to correctly demonstrate much of the social behavior for a mare her age.
