Sunrise Ranch
" Wake up and smell the roses, while you still can."
How it Started ;
Nevada, USA
Deep in the heart of a barren land lays a rather gorgeous facility, by the name of Sunrise Ranch.
The land it settles on is bare, not a pine tree, or any tree in sight for double digit miles.
Only the sound of dessert crickets and the cry of an unbroken mustang cracks the silence here.
The owner, Daniel J. Hampton began the mustang operation 53 years ago, and has been keeping it up since.
He has hired the best horse trainers known to man, and is known for his devotion to the mustangs.
Only sick or injured mustangs come through the gates of Sunrise Ranch, With intentions to fix them
up and give them a better chance at a perfect life. Some come as foals whom had lost their mother, others
come with life-threatening sicknesses or wounds.
The Ranch has just recently opened up a program, teaming up with the state prison to allow some minor criminals
to have the chance to work, and get roughed up a bit. The program will allow them to completely execute their time in prison,
under one condition. Each inmate must be able to train 15 different mustangs while they stay for 2 years.
If they can not manage to do so, they go back to a life in custody.
This program is not for killers, it is only available to those with minor assault, robbery, drug charges etc.
Only inmates that are 25 or under are eligible to enroll into the program.
Why is it that this program started?
Daniel simply wants to help those who can't seem to help themselves, he's got nurturing instincts.
He wants to help these young people get a batter direction in their life before it is simply too late.
