{- Dustin ~ Michael ~ Morrison -}
Mood; Confident
The sound of the old door squeaked to a stop as Dustin shut it behind him. It was now time to go check out the stable, and find out which beast he'd be dealing with for the next few months, until another comes along. He brushed his hand through his hair before stepping outside. One hand rose above his forehead to shade his eyes from the sun. His eyes scanning the area to locate the stables, it wasn't very hard. He dropped his hand and picked up a short jog towards the stables where everyone had already stood. He looked around, and looked down the halls of the open barn doors. He could see a line of name tags running along each stall. He wasted no time walking in and making himself at home. He passed by a bay, and then a grullo, and then he stopped, a few certain letters caught his eye. He turned his head to make out the letters more clearly, and whispered "D-u-s-t-i-n".
He looked into the bars of the stall and found his eyes laying upon a big brown beast. "Hello, moose is it?" His voice came out calming, but the horse just stood there. Obviously he had no interest in forming any sort of bond with this new human. Dustin made his way to the door of the stall, where a lead rope hung. He gripped the brown lead and pulled it off the hook it settled on. His other hand reaching for the latch on the stall door. He heard the metal click , alerting that it had been unlocked, and ready to swing open. Dustin had never done this before, he had no idea what he was doing. He had no education on this other than watching movies when he was younger. He wrapped the lead in his hand and opened the stall. The stallion jolted to the side, and swung his head the other direction. Throwing a kick in Dustin's path, thankfully it hadn't quite reached his skin. "Woah!" He shouted at the mustang, and threw his hands up in the air, and reached for the stallion's halter, forcing it towards him with good strength. He quickly latched the lead rope to the halter, and proceeded to back out of the stall, strongly encouraging the horse to follow.
